Method and assumptions

The chart treats each post hole as a full cylinder: pi times radius squared times depth. It does not subtract a post, tube wall, or gravel base.

Bag counts use 50 lb = 0.375 cu ft, 60 lb = 0.45 cu ft, and 80 lb = 0.60 cu ft. A 10% waste factor is added before each bag count is rounded up.
